Michael Jackson released his first solo album for the EPIC Records Company, also his first as an adult. This one would be the start for an incredible solo career. For Off The Wall he teamed up with producer Quincy Jones. Michael showed on this R&B album that he's also a ver talented songwriter. The album produced two #1 singles, Don't Stop Til You Get Enough and Rock With You. Both reached the platinum status. There were two more smash hits, She's Out Of My Life and Off The Wall.

On the Billboard Album Charts, Off The Wall stayed eight month in the Top 10, and 84 weeks in the Top 100. Up to today it has sold 8 million copies in the U.S. alone, and 4 millions worldwide.
