May 27, 2000:

Tribute For Liz Taylor
May 26:
8pm: This evening, at 8 pm (London time), Michael Jackson and Liz Taylor left the Dorchester Hotel together and went to the Albert Hall.
8:30pm: The Elizabeth Taylor tribute concert just started at the Albert Hall. Michael Jackson is sitting next to Elizabeth Taylor in a first-tier box located near the stage. The King of Pop is wearing black trousers, a white shirt and a black jacket.
9:30pm: Michael Jackson and Liz Taylor left their box in the Albert Hall for a short break. They went out for some refreshments and came back a few minutes later. Michael Jackson is expected to appear on stage by the end of the evening.
10:15 pm: As the tribute concert came to an end. Liz Taylor appeared on stage to address the crowd. After her speech, Michael joined her on stage and presented her with a huge bunch of flowers. He then hugged her. Then, Joan Collins came and Michael kissed her. The rest of the night's performers joined them on stage for the evening finale. The evening was quiet for Michael and Liz. They both enjoyed the performances, participating in the standing ovation that ended Andrea Bocelli's number.
10:30 pm: Michael Jackson and Liz Taylor returned to the Dorchester Hotel together. Before going to their suites, Liz and Michael spent some time in the hotel shopping gallery, looking at the jewelry showcases.

Michael Jackson Stars in 'Ready 2 Rumble Boxing: Round 2' Video Game
On May 12, 2000, Midway Sports Asylum announced that Michael Jackson will be a special guest celebrity boxer in the highly anticipated 'Ready 2 Rumble Boxing: Round 2.' The new game combines intense boxing competition and the over-the-top action that made its predecessor 'Ready 2 Rumble Boxing' a very popular game. Jackson was motion captured and sound recorded in order to incorporate his dance moves, voice and style. However, he will enter the ring as an over-the-top 'rumblized' version of himself. Helene Sheeler, vice president of marketing Midway Games: "Midway is thrilled to have Michael Jackson join the all-star cast of 'Ready 2 Rumble Boxing: Round 2'. Players can now 'float like a butterfly, sting like a bee and moonwalk like Michael Jackson' as they experience the larger-than-life boxing action of 'Ready 2 Rumble Boxing: Round 2!" Starting November 2000, the game will be available for PlayStation 2, PlayStation game console, Nintendo 64, Game Boy Color, and the Sega Dreamcast.

Thriller Best Video of All-Time on VH1
Today at 7:00 pm (EST), VH1 aired a special one-hour live show of its hit series "The List", hosted by John Travolta. Movie stars Barry Pepper, Forest Whitaker, Jonathan D. Krane, and Roger Christian comprised the guest panel. Today's show asked "what is the Best Music Video of All Time?" The winners were determined by a combination of votes cast by fans via VH1's online poll between Apr. 27 and May 12, and the show's guests who were asked to list their choice for the top 3 videos. The Top Three Winners:

World Music Awards Quotes
Not only the fans were eagerly waiting to see Michael Jackson at the World Music Awards in Monte Carlo. Even stars that attended the ceremony were looking forward to have a look at their idol.
Reporter: What are you looking forward to tonight?

Tracy Bingham (Baywatch): Actually, you know what...I have never ever met Michael Jackson. I love him. And just being in the same room as Michael Jackson is enough for me. So I can't wait to see him.
Reporter: Have you ever met Michael Jackson?
Gena Lee Nolin (Baywatch): I haven't. No. But as matter of fact I just could take a look at him. That's very exciting!
Prince Albert of Monaco: [...] we are very happy that Michael is again our guest this year.
AJ (Backstreet Boys): He is what every artist looks up be... one time become the next King of Pop.
During his acceptance speech at the World Music Awards Michael Jackson sent a special thank you to his fans: "I am incredibly honored to have been chosen to receive this award. And I would like to thank the World Music Awards, and especially the fans! [...] You are the reason why I continue to do what I do." Michael Jackson has left Monte Carlo this morning at 8.30 am.

Michael Jackson To Attend Elizabeth Taylor's Knighting Ceremony
Elizabeth Taylor will be knighted by Britain's Queen Elizabeth in a Buckingham Palace ceremony on May 23, 2000 in London, England. According to MJJ Productions, Michael Jackson is scheduled to attend this ceremony. The British Film Institute will organize a special "Diamond Tribute" in Ms. Taylor's honor on May 24, 2000. Dame Elizabeth Taylor has remained a very close friend of Michael Jackson for many years. On behalf of all our members and millions of Michael Jackson fans world wide, Michael Jackson Internet Fan Club sends its best wishes and congratulations to Ms. Taylor.

World Music Awards
Wednesday evening (May 10, 2000) Michael Jackson received a World Music Award for 'Best Selling Pop Male Artist of the Millennium'. The award ceremony started 9 pm at the Sporting Club in Monte Carlo, Monaco and was hosted by Elle Macphersen and Mark McGrath. Michael arrived shortly before he should receive his award from HSH Prince Albert of Monaco towards the end of the ceremony. He was introduced by a video sequence about himself and was welcomed by thunderous applause and a standing ovation of the audience. Then Michael accepted his award with a short speech where he talked about his life as an artist and promised that more good things are to come. He also thanked his fans for their continued support. World Music Awards Update
According to MJJ Productions, Michael Jackson is scheduled to attend the 2000 World Music Awards in Monte Carlo on May 10, 2000. Jackson will be honored during the ceremony with an award for 'World's Best-Selling Pop Artist of the Millennium'. Elle MacPherson and Mark McGrath will host the show. Other guests expected to attend include Mariah Carey, Ricky Martin, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Goldie Hawn, Pamela Anderson, Michael Clark Duncan, and Prince Albert of Monaco. According to the information office of Monaco, fans who are unable to attend the completely booked out show will have an opportunity to experience the event live on giant screens at the Larvotto Beach in Monte Carlo free of cost. Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Princess Grace Hospital and the Monaco Aide and Presence Foundation. The World Music Awards are presented on the basis of record sales. Michael Jackson received a record five awards during the 1996 World Music Awards Melissa Corken, John Martinotti and Gary L. Pudney are the executive producers of the event. The producer is Greg Sills with co-producers John Hamlin, Tisha Fein and Joel Briskin. Kent Weed is a co-producer and the director. "The 2000 World Music Awards" is a Marcor International Production in association with The Gary L. Pudney Company.

TTT Music
Taj, Taryll and T.J. Jackson have created an internet music label called TTT Music. TTT Music was created on January 1st 2000 to "provide music lovers all over the world with clean, good music."
The first artist signed to TTT music is KlAyE. His debut album, entirely produced by 3T, is titled KlAyE DaYe and scheduled for an internet release on June 3, 2000.
KlAyE's first single, "Mother," will be available from starting Mother's Day, May 14th 2000. The singer's website will open the same day at
3T's T.J. will discuss the launch of TTT Music and the release of KlAyE's first album during an internet chat at (exact chat time and date available from on May 3rd). 3T are very much involved in the promotion and success of KlAyE. The young new artist is already expected to open up on 3T's next world tour.
