The Dangerous World Tour Review

This concert in Romania was played on October 1, 1992 in Bucarest. It was taped and aired on american network HBO but is not available as an official video.

After a couple of videos on the Jumbtron videoscreen (Brace Yourself) Michael jumps on the stage and stands minutes staring at the crowd. Then he takes off his sunglasses and then Jam begins. In the middle of the song the music stops and his dancers come on the stage and perform the song to the end. The dancers remain and they perform Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' very similar as they did on The Bad Tour . After that Michael performs Human Nature and dances like a robot. On that song he is supported by a laser show. Then Michael changes his outfit. For the next song a white curtain comes and you can see the big shadow of Michael on it. He does a few moves and then the curtain falls and you he starts to perform Smooth Criminal with his dancers. He wears nearly the same outfit and does the same choreography (also the leaning part) as in the video. At the firecrackers are blow off right on the chests of each of the dancers and it seems that have been shot dead and Michael walks over them backstage preparing for the next song which is I Just Can't Stop Loving You. For this one Siedah Garrett joins him on the stage. Following this Michael does She's Out Of My Life and picks a girl from the audience who comes on the stage to him. Then Michael does maybe his favorite part of the show. Like on The Bad Tour he peforms the Jackson 5 Medley with I Want You Back and The Love You Save, again with his dancers and the original choreography of the 70's. The he sings the full part of I'll Be There. Time for the classicals so Michael starts Thriller and during the song he changes (like in the video) into a monster. His dancers are dressed like zombies and they do the video dance moves. The song ends with V. Price' legendary laugh and in the last second of it the drum beat starts to introduce Billie Jean. Michael, wearing again black pants, fedora and jacket, a white T-shirt and a white glove is on the moving platform. Back on the main stage he does nearly the same performance as in The Bad Tour . The next song is Working Day And Night. In the end of this one Michael sits and and someone puts a cloth over him. The he takes the cloth away - and Michael isn't under it anymore. He performs Beat It on the moving stage and does the same moves with his dancers as in the video. For the next song, his dancers are dressed like african natives (or somethin' like that). Michael comes, and sings the first part of Will You Be There, where he just stands on the stage. Then, during the chorus se seems to wake up singing the background to the refrain (just as on the album version). During the spoken words an angel flies slowly down the stage to Michael. With the last beats of WYBT the angel wraps the wings 'round Michael. After the Macauley Video Intro Michael comes on the stage again and goes on the moving stage, where he peforms the first two verses of Black Or White. He does it with an unbelieveable energy. After the rap, the music stops, the crowd screams and seconds later Michael starts the final part of the song, which ends after a long guitar solo. Truly one of the highlights of the show. Michael comes again and sings Heal The World. After the first half of the song he goes on the moving stage. Back on the stage he is joined by children and adults. During the final "You and for me" of the song he goes backstage. He comes back alone on the stage for the final song, Man In The Mirror. He does an great performance and great moves. Then, the song is done, but the music keeps playing (MITM is about 12 minutes long) and his crew puts Michael into an astronaut outfit. Then he puts an helmet on.He gets a machine on his back then flies with it away and backstage. After the firework the show is over.
